Each year the Lexington Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure awards grants based on funds raised. Interested in applying for a grant? You must be a non-profit organization in one of the 58 counties listed below. We are looking for collaborative ways to educate, screen or treat women in your area. In March 2009 over $521,000 was awarded to the Recipients shown to the right. So you see we are helping women you know; your mother, sister, friend and neighbor.

Grant applications are awarded on an annual basis and are due each year on November 15. The Request for Proposal (RFP) may be downloaded by clicking on the pdf file below.

Research grants are funded on a National level and further information about these research grants may be obtained at http://www.komen.org/. In 2008 Komen Lexington contributed over $137,000 towards this Research Pool.
